Grant Description

In 2001, the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia signed an agreement to reform Ethiopia's agricultural technical and vocational training, with China providing instructors for practical training.

The agreement would be renewed each fiscal year, with China selecting instructors and Ethiopia funding other program costs. The program is still ongoing. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
