Grant Description
Chinese Government provides RMB 200 million interest-free loan — via ETCA — for unspecified purposes In September 2013, China agreed to grant Laos 300 million RMB ($49 million) and provide a 200 million RMB ($32.6 million) interest-free loan, according to news reports ("China gives Laos $81m in aid, loans").
The agreement was signed by Lao Prime Minister Thongsing Thamavong and his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang. This project captures the 200 million RMB interest-free loan.
