Grant Description

On September 13, 2006, the Chinese government signed an agreement with Cambodia on its assistance in preventing the spread of malaria in the Kingdom as well as in providing anti-malarial drugs.

The agreement is signed by China Ambassador to Cambodia Zhang Jinfeng and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hor Namhong. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
