Grant Description

On February 21, 2011, Cambodia and China signed six agreements on bilateral cooperation, aiming at assisting Cambodia to develop its economy and to alleviate poverty, including an agreement to dispatch Chinese experts to study the feasibility of the construction of an agricultural laboratory building in Cambodia.

On September 9, 2013, China's Bureau of International Economic Cooperation Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce formally issued a notice of the 60 million RMB bid award for the construction task of the agricultural laboratory building project in Cambodia to Zhongding International Engineering Co, Ltd. (ZIEC).

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
