Grant Description

On December 21, 2009, an Exchange of Notes on the Construction Project of New Office Buildings for the Senate was signed by H.E. Tep Ngon, Second Vice President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and H.E.

Chen Jian, Vice Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, granting $7.7 million for the construction of three buildings as well as the purchase of furniture and office supplies. The agreement for the project is one out of 14 agreements signed between China and Cambodia on December 21, 2009.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
