Chinese embassy grants a Chinese-language multimedia classroom and teaching equipment to Nouakchott University

In 2009, the Chinese embassy granted a Chinese-language multimedia classroom in the Nouakchott University of Mauritania. The classroom and equipment were handed over on April 8, 2009, but it is unclear when the project began.

Donated equipment included copiers, televisions, projectors, computers, and other equipment, worth a total of about $17,000. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
