The funding supports U.S.

National Laboratory OPCW Designated Laboratory experts who are international leaders and conduct assistance activities to CWC States Parties at the request of the OCPW, including technical training to enhance the capabilities and skills of inspection and emergency responder personnel to respond and safely manage chemical threats, and to assist improving laboratory analysis skills for non-represented regions to further increase the OPCWs readiness to respond to the chemical weapons incidents.
