Funding supports a broad spectrum of activities to include training individuals, advising and mentoring units, equipping individuals with uniforms, weapons, and body armor, equipping units with vehicles, communications gear, and crew served weapons, developing the logistics and maintenance support structure to sustain units, providing basing and facility infrastructure, and improving ministerial capacity to keep the forces operating after the U.S. departs.
