Grant Description

In December 2013, China, through its embassy in Ethiopia, has established a scholarship for needy students at Addis Ababa University (AAU).

The scholarship will provide financial assistance of 5-years to study at AAU and will be offered for a total of five years to 250 students (50 students each year). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
