Grant Description

China signs Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement loaning 20 million RMB interest-free to Mali Between 4 and 6 November 2006 during the Sino-African Summit in Beijing, Malian President Amadou Toumani Toure and Chinese President Hu Jintao witnessed the signing of five agreements including an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) in which China committed to loan 20 million RMB interest-free (approximately 1.545 million CFA) for unspecified purposes.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
