Grant Description

China provided scholarships to 41 Congolese students to study in China during the 2011-2012 academic year. The students were scheduled to fly to China on August 28, 2011.

The students planned to attend 28 Chinese universities and study in 10 different subjects (the original source listed civil engineering, industrial engineering, environmental engineering, pharmacy, architecture, and finance). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
