Grant Description

On June 1, 2012, the Malian Minister of State, Mr. Sadio Lamine Sow, signed an agreement with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Mali, Mr. Cao Zhang Ming. The agreement included a donation of antimalarial drugs worth 3 million CNY, or 210 million CFA francs (XOF).

The drugs were handed over on December 19th by Chinese Ambassador Cao Zhongming to Malian Health Minister Diallo Madeleine Ba. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
