Expand the role of the legal advisor to commanders to include advisory functions on operational law, international human rights and humanitarian law, and the realities of military operations in the post-FARC environment by: .- Providing an overview of the international and domestic legal frameworks that govern the use of force and rules of engagement..- Highlighting the value of the legal advisor and the importance of integrating with the operational staff..- Providing a forum where legal advisors can develop skills to communicate more effectively with commanders.
