Grant Description
The Inter-European Aviation Safety Program Management (IEASPM) Course is intended for personnel (both officer and enlisted) assigned to current or future Flight Safety Officer (FSO) positions. It will provide students with a working knowledge of an aviation mishap prevention.program.
Course graduates will be capable of administrating an aircraft mishap prevention.program to include: bird/wildlife aircraft strike hazard (BASH), midair collision avoidance.(MACA), hazardous air traffic reports (HATRs), hazard reporting, inspections, airfield safety, and.disaster response.
In addition, the course will also address concepts, methodologies, and best.practices in the area of Risk Management (RM). Each course incorporates visits to active airfields.to observe aviation mishap prevention programs.
