The Inter-European Air Base Defense (IEABD) course is intended for personnel (both officer and enlisted) assigned as current or future Air Base Defense or Security Forces personnel.
It will provide students with a working knowledge of air base defense theories and practices to align NATO and Partnership for Peace allies with Agile Combat Employment (ACE) war-fighting functions.
Topics will include defense-in-depth planning, armed response and air base entry control, operating in a variety of field environment conditions and challenges, emergency planning and response recovery operations, and developing plans, policies, procedures, and instructions to implement air base defense and security programs.
The course will be delivered by subject matter experts training personnel through in-resident informal lectures, guided discussion, and practical exercises.
