This one week course, conducted at the Tactical Leadership Programme in Albacete, Spain, establishes foundational knowledge and understanding of CSAR Doctrine as well as Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for junior aircrew, CAOC, SOF and Intel personnel.
It aims to provide broad, generalized awareness of Combined Air Operations Combat Search and Rescue operations to tactical operators to enable them to more readily integrate into future combined air operations and exercises.
The course provides a brief overview of CSAR doctrine, architecture, and the roles of key CSAR players with special emphasis on planning and execution considerations of CSAR in a combined air operations environment.
