Grant Description

ICP delivered the International Joint Bioterrorism Investigations (IJBTI) Course in Lagos, Nigeria.

The five-day course provided Nigerian public health and law enforcement personnel responsible for deterring, detecting, identifying, and responding to a bioterrorism incident with a broad overview of bioterrorism and its relationship to WMD proliferation.

The course participants gained a better understanding of joint law enforcement and public health investigative methods, and developed the next steps forward for their organizations to strengthen bonds and communication between all of the existing organizations and agencies present with the Office of the National Security Advisor (ONSA) taking the lead.
