Grant Description

ICP delivered the Countering WMD in a Maritime Environment to 36 tactical level-to-senior official participants from the Marine Nationale, National Police, Gendarmerie, Maritime Security (HASSMAR), Brigade Nationale des Sapeur Pompiers (Fire Brigade), Customs, Autonomous Port of Dakar, Senegalese Armed Forces, and Agence nationale des Affaires maritimes (ANAM).

This course educated customs, border guard, maritime law enforcement, and port security officials about the potential of WMD movement through maritime ports and provided an overview of the various methods used to detect and deter such movement.
