Grant Description

The program will develop and implement educational and vocational programs as a means to combat the worst forms of child labor in Bolivia. Child labor in artisan mining in the department of Potosi will be specifically targeted.

The program will improve access to quality basic education for children working or at risk of working in exploitative child labor.

The program will include components of awareness raising, teacher training, development and distribution of locally relevant educational materials, vocational training, institutional strengthening, and mobilization of resources for education. - Through Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere.
