China National Petroleum Corporation donates computer center to University of Juba

On August 18, 2009, China National Petroleum Corporation held a ceremony laying the foundation for a computer center in at the University of Juba.

The center cost USD 600,000 and is capable of providing 60 students with computer access with an area of 2000 square meters. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
