the us agency for international development (usaid)-funded health leadership project (hlp) is a fiveyear program (may 2, 2019may 1, 2024) to strengthen the government of haiti (goh) as the steward of the health sector. the goh is increasingly in control of its own financial and human resources through a coordinated system that is less reliant on external partners for equitable delivery of quality health services. hlps two objectives are: objective 1: build gohs capacity to lead and finance the health sector objective 2: improve goh planning and oversight of the health workforce
