The primary goal is to improve the health and well-being of urban, poor adolescents age 15-19 by increasing voluntary family planning (FP) uptake and continued usefrom a holistic, human capital perspective.
Situating FP in a broader context for young people to plan their futures, we propose three objectives: 1) Life SkillsEnhance youth life skills for healthy living and future planning; 2) LeadershipFoster an enabling social and policy environment for adolescent health and development; and 3) LivelihoodsIncrease youth workforce readiness, job opportunities, and entrepreneurship to address socioeconomic determinants of adolescent health.
