USAID Building University-Industry Learning and Development through Innovation and Technology Alliance (BUILD-IT)

The BUILD-IT Alliance is a new education alliance among government, industry, and academic partners in the U.S. and Vietnam.

The goal is to link science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) instruction in Vietnamese universities with the needs and capabilities of companies.

BUILD-IT will organize a student industry fair, higher education executive policy workshops, a women in technology forum, and introduce applied curriculum models.

BUILD-IT will help Vietnamese university students lead inclusive, technology-based growth by engaging leadership in strengthening higher education policy; enable university-private sector collaboration; develop curricular partnerships, mentorships, and industry-sponsored opportunities to build students' professional and technical competencies in preparation for STEM careers; and improve academic programs and outcomes.
