Grant Description

In September 2004, CNPC donated 1.2 million USD to build the 3,000 m2 KRC Friendship Hospital near Khartoum. The hospital consists of eight departments including Surgery, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, and Pediatrics. With 60 beds and 4 attending physicians, the hospital has the capacity to treat 2,000 patients each month.

The project has been completed. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
