The Family Health Plus (FH+) activity aims to expand the choices of contraceptives in family planning methods and reproductive health available to couples.
It will address the large number of busy public sector family planning service sites that do not offer implants and/or IUDs, generally due to lack of experience or training among nursing and midwifery staff.
FH+ will collaborate with the government to increase the use of quality family planning services with a focus on the informed and voluntary use of long acting methods.
FH+ will train family planning service providers on management and work towards achieve an improved policy environment for long acting methods.
