The GOA network was established three years ago as a new initiative for an open national collaboration platform with the aim of strengthening and making use of research and development of the interaction between green transformation and sustainable working life.
The network has created an arena for knowledge building and exchange of experiences between universities and research institutes all over Sweden and among researchers from different scientific disciplines.
New collaborations and projects are expected to be created based on societal and organisational needs related to green transition and sustainable working life and contribute to actual benefit in workplaces, in industries and at policy level. The network has a span of different scientific perspectives from a range of disciplines where participating researchers work in projects at the macro, meso and micro level.
Through the network, cross-organizational and interdisciplinary collaboration is enabled, which has great potential to create synergy effects and knowledge creation between different system levels, sectors, workplaces and research areas.
The participants are from universities and research institutes spread across Sweden and consist of about 20 people with an even distribution of men and women and a span of ages up to 70+ years.
The network intends to continue to develop and include both more senior and junior researchers and doctoral students. The network will thus be open for new members and include; 1) internal network meetings, to exchange experiences and initiate new collaborations, 2) External activities and external exchange with joint sessions at national conferences and events, and 3) External and internal communication and information dissemination with a description of the network and contact details on a public website and a internal digital collaboration arena for network members with the aim of sharing information, partial results and communication.
