Dr.

Pablo Campos Garzón, postdoctoral fellow at the University of Granada, Spain, Faculty of Sport Sciences, is invited to a visiting research stay at our institution. Dr.

Campos Garzón is an expert in physical activity and urban design, with particular expertise in the use of accelerometer and GPS data to study where children are active.

His research has provided important insights into how environments influence physical activity, and his methodological expertise is invaluable to our project on schoolyard renovations.Dr.

Campos Garzón has published over 10 scientific papers using accelerometer and GPS data in the school field in high-ranked journals and developed software to process and analyze accelerometer and GPS data.

He has also actively collaborated with authorities and schools to translate research results into practical recommendations and policy changes. During his research visit, Dr.

Campos Garzón will contribute to:Research work: Collect, process and analyze accelerometer and GPS data, lead the development of statistical models, and participate in the writing of scientific articles.Seminars and Lectures: Dr.

Campos Garzón will hold a series of seminars on wearable sensors and physical activity, as well as guest lectures at our department and other universities.Visits to Other Institutions: Dr.

Campos Garzón will visit the School of Economics and Stockholm University to share his insights, discuss collaborations and promote regional cooperation. Dr.

Campos Garzón´s stay will promote international collaboration, capacity building at our institution, and support the development of evidence-based recommendations for how to design green schoolyards to improve children´s health. We look forward to welcoming Dr.

Campos Garzón and benefit from his experience and knowledge to strengthen our research and contribute to public health.
