Conference: The European Space Weather Week in Umeå, October 2025

Space weather, influenced by the Sun´s activity, is the focus of the European Space Weather Week (ESWW), an international scientific conference. ESWW 2025 will take place at Folkets Hus, in Umeå, from Oct 27-31, 2025.

The event, expecting 500 participants, aims to bring together the scientific community and industries to discuss multiple space weather topics such scientific breakthroughs, exploration of innovative technologies, product data.

The conference program includes parallel sessions, plenaries and topical discussion meetings, to facilitate knowledge exchange between the attendees.

A space weather training course for early-career space weather professionals will precede the conference, and outreach activities for all ages are planned during the week of the conference. With a total budget of 4 MSEK, we are seeking sponsorships and applying for 659 000 SEK through this proposal.
