Grant Description
BackgroundJAXA has announced the dates and venue for the next MMX Joint Science Working Team meeting (MMX-JSWT) for its MMX mission. It will be held 4-6 Nov 2024 in Paris.
Purpose of travelLuleå Tekniska Universitet (LTU) is providing science support for JAXA’s MMX mission to Phobos, with Axel Hagermann, member of the Science Working Team, providing expertise on regolith mechanical properties measurements using the sampler device SMP-C.
In order to showcase LTU’s contribution and gain new contacts within the MMX team, it is essential that Co-I Hagermann participates in the team meetings in person. We are requesting financial support for Hagermann’s trip to the MMX-JSWT meeting in Paris.
