The network is a new initiative to establish an open national cooperation platform with the aim of strengthening and utilizing R&D of green transformation and sustainable working life.
The ambition is to build and establish an innovative network for knowledge creation about various processes and research projects that are ongoing in Sweden, and how these can work together for an efficient, healthy and safe green transformation.
Furthermore, the network will take into account conditions for green transformation and working methods that are based on the Swedish model in working life.Ten universities and research institutes are participating in the initiation phase, and the ambition is network growth in the coming years.
The ten organizations that initiated this network are RISE IVF, Linköping University/HELIX Competence Centre, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, Luleå University of Technology, Dalarna University, Lund University, Jönköping University, University of Gothentburg, KTH and Umeå University.
This involves researchers with complementary competencies in social sustainability, norms and cultural issues, working environment and working conditions related to changes, socio-technical changes, economy and energy systems, design for resilience and sustainable production systems, the role of health care in climate and environmental work, and the consequences of climate change for health and welfare development.Planned activities are i) Self-arranged networking activities with open digital network meetings and “IRL” workshops, ii) External collaborations including activities at external workshops and conferences, and iii) communication and dissemination activities.
