Grant Description

This task order supports the PEPFAR/Tanzania objective to build an enabling environment for the scale-up of prevention, care, and treatment of HIV/AIDS in Tanzania.

The main policy objective is to accelerate and complement effective national, regional, and district responses by supporting government policy development, building capacity for policy analysis and advocacy, fostering a legal and policy environment, and implementing existing legislation.

It also entails community monitoring and oversight of HIV-related health services and the reduction of stigma and discrimination, and gender-based violence. Starting in the next reporting period, TO5 will also address FP/RH issues.
