Grant Description

On March 30, 2011, Liberia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Toga Gayewea Mcintosh, signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) with China's Vice Minister of Commerce Fu Ziyang. This ETCA allocated a grant worth 50 million RMB to the government of Liberia. According to a Foreign Ministry release the grant will be used for projects to be agreed on by the two governments.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
