Grant Description

On November 18, 2008, Mozambican Finance Minister Manuel Chang and the Chinese ambassador, Tian Guangfong signed an agreement in which the Chinese government agrees to provide $3 million grant for “basic development sectors". Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
