Grant Description

In June 2006, the Chinese Government signed a grant agreement with the Government of the Republic of Congo for the Oyo Water Supply Project.

China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) was the source of grant funding and it reportedly committed CFA 2.3 billion in total. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
