We're looking for a detail-oriented Grant Researcher to join our Research team. You'll be the backbone of our data quality, hunting down new funding opportunities and ensuring every record in our database is accurate, up-to-date and useful to the non-profits who rely on us.
You'll work alongside our data engineers and philanthropy specialists in a fully remote environment, contributing to a mission that directly supports thousands of NGOs worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Source and document new grant opportunities from government, foundation and multilateral databases
Verify and update existing grant records for accuracy and completeness
Categorise grants by sector, geography, funder type and eligibility criteria
Produce weekly research reports for the editorial team
Collaborate with data engineers on automated ingestion pipelines
Requirements
Experience in grant research, fundraising or international development
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools
Excellent written English
Nice to Have
Familiarity with AidData, Foundation Directory or similar databases
Experience with Python or SQL for data querying
