Grant Description

Central and southern Bosnia and Herzegovina experienced severe floods and landslides due to heavy rainfall on 3 and 4 October 2024, resulting in significant destruction and fatalities.

The direct damages are preliminary estimated at EUR 144 million, equivalent to 0.53 percent of the country¿s 2023 Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
