The Nuclear Energy Density Functionals (NEDF) are the appropriate, reliable, and successful tools to study the nuclear properties and excitations under extreme conditions.
This research project will contribute to worldwide scientific efforts to better understand the structure of nuclei under extreme conditions, for instance, increasing nucleon number and temperature.
Besides, the results of this work can make an important contribution to the astrophysical modelling of events occurring in stellar environments.
