Grant Description

The aim of this proposal is centred around the procurement of three items of equipment. This will

* provide infrastructure to support Government Policy aims of making the UK a Tech Superpower, through enhancing our group's STFC funded know-how to invent, innovate, develop technology while working with UK industry, and to enhance our capabilities to underpin instrument development for fundamental science applications for the coming decades

* accelerate our research cycle, ensuring that staff and student time is used to do better science Our mission is in line with STFC priorities and the particle physics and particle physics technology roadmaps.
