Circularity Gap Report Sweden

The purpose of this research project is to create a deeper understanding of: • how circular Sweden is • where Sweden is excelling • where Sweden needs to improve • what actions are likely to have the biggest positive impact.

The project will aid in understanding what impact circular initiatives such as the Swedish Circular Strategy, the Swedish Circular Action Plan and RE:Source have on the transition towards a circular economy in Sweden. This is needed since a baseline assessment of the current state of circularity at the national level will provide an opportunity to identify what measures need to be taken, and to what extent, in order to have the biggest positive impact on the Swedish circularity.
