Theoretical pre studie Solna

We intend to conduct a theoretical pre-study for a deep geothermal plant of 25MW at Norrenergi in Solna.

The study forms a basis for further funding opportunities and the importance of which has been pointed out by the Swedish Energy Agency and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's Klimatklivet. In addition, it is a great help in further contacts with other authorities, co-financiers, etc.

We have a letter of intent where Norrenergi will buy energy from ABG. The price will be around 400sek/MWh which would give a plant a ROI in 5-10-years.

The alternative energy source would be an incineration of briquettes, which would produce 76,000 tonnes of CO2 (equivalent acc. to Swedish Energy Agency), corresponding to approx. 1/7 part of domestic aviation (2018 figures according to NVV). Norrenergi needs 4 plants to cover the need of the energy that is currently taken out of wastewater from Bromma via heat pumps.
