Havredals has a new innovative process for manufacturing of vegetable alternatives to meat with low temperature. With this manufacturing process, Havredals expect to decrease the CO2 emissions in Sweden with 1% within 5-years’ time.
Manufacturing has been made in lab environment and initial product prototypes have been tested by potential partners and customers. The method require less temperature, which results in a lower energy consumption and a higher quality of the product.
This project shall result in enabling the method to be commersialized when it becomes approved by the Patent and Registration Office. Furthermore, prototype manufacturing, food safety approved for manufacturing with quality analysis and contracts with potential customers are important milestones to reach.
