New resource-efficient method for manufacture of packaging materials

This project aims at introducing and implementing a technology change in the manufacture of paper-based packaging materials, comprising a significant reduction in consumption of energy and forest raw material while simultaneously improving the function of the produced packaging material.

The aim of the project is to establish an IPR-strategy for the new manufacturing technology, to develop a prototype that verifies and demonstrates the technology, and to produce communication material for the technology.

The results from this project are intended to form the basis for a follow-up upscaling project, where the manufacturing technology is verified under real-life manufacturing conditions.
