This is a continuation of the contest for new and innovative solutions to ventilation problems in energy-efficient apartment buildings carried out by Svensk Ventilation and BeBo in 2019-2020. The competition resulted in 15 submitted entries that were evaluated by the jury, four of which were deemed to be particularly interesting.
Ventilation components in apartment buildings have a long technical life, can be difficult to replace and have a major impact on both the indoor climate and the building's energy use. It is therefore important that solutions that are installed are of high quality. In this project, three of the solutions, which solve the problem of supplying replacement air to the apartment during ventilation boosts, will be developed and evaluated.
Measurements are made in a controlled lab environment and the purpose is to ensure that the solutions maintain the promised performance, function under varying operating conditions and have reliable operation over time.
