Implementation of Goal oriented Energy Management 2

The project Implementation of Goal oriented Energy Management 2 (MEF 2) builds on the results achieved during the first phase of the project (MEF 1).

Building on the result in the MEF 1 project, the project “Service development Goal oriented Energy Management – Feasibility study”, financed by BeBo. The model agreement was tested by some BRFs in MEF 1. One of the first BRF to sign an MEF agreement began energy optimization work in January 2019.

They reduced their energy use by 14% in 2019 compared to 2018. This corresponds to 427 MWh or SEK 400,000 in reduced costs.

In the MEF 2 project, the project participants will work with development, information and implementation of the model agreement and thus contribute to the estimated energy potential of 3TWh / year being realized.

The main target groups of the project are tenant owners’ associations (BRF) and smaller property owners, Energy and climate advisors, and companies working with energy efficiency measures.
