The Raise Me Up (RMU) project develops a component-certified product platform for towers made of refined wood materials that meet the needs of future environmentally friendly, tall, and more efficient wind turbines, increasing the supply of fossil-free energy.
RMU includes the development of a calculation platform for a 6MW tower platform, the largest land-based turbine platform to date.
Extensive testing is required to certify and validate the platform, and in addition to what is funded in this project, a full-scale product demonstrator will be built in collaboration with a customer.
Component certification is crucial for Modvion to commercialize its innovative modular technology for the circular and sustainable wind turbine towers of the future.
The project updates the wind power industry as a whole through groundbreaking technology development that enables tall turbines in remote locations at a lower cost and, most importantly, with a lower environmental impact.
