Centre of excellence for fast growing deciduous TREES –sustainable FORest, Material, and Energy (Trees For Me)

Trees For Me (TFM) is a center of excellence for the production and refining of the fast-growing deciduous trees birch, aspen, poplar and hybrid aspen for energy and other products. Fifty partners representing academia, forest research institutes, companies and the public sector collaborate in TFM.

The Swedish Energy Agency believes that the center can contribute to the diversification of the economy in forestry at the same time as the fuel base can increase.
