Commercializing an all-organic proton battery for sustainable energy storage

With the proposed project, a business foundation is created in order to commercialize our innovation, the organic proton battery. This battery has a significantly better profile when it comes to CO2-emissions during the production than todays conventional batteries, since mining can be avoided when extracting the active materials.

Focus of this project will be divided into three parts: - A production concept for the battery will be created, which will lead to up-scaling of the product. - Market strategy for a specific application of the project, planned as a battery integrated in high performance textiles, which will be delivered and evaluated.

- The innovation is already protected in a Swedish patent. Now an international IPR-strategy must be created and filing for patents in the strategic important countries will be sought.
