The construction and civil engineering industry has been least affected by digitalisation. Work is carried out in similar manner the last 50-years, but the cost has increased eight times more than other costs and the construction defects amount to many billions annually.
With 3D printing of concrete buildings, costs will be reduced and will result in lower production costs, high efficiency, high architectural flexibility, less material consumption, increased working environment safety and reduced energy and resource utilization due to human error.
The goal of the project is to prepare 3D-printing of a smaller detached house /Attefall with future-oriented and inspiring architecture and halve the production cost of the townhouse housing and to carry out the work from start of construction to turn key ready on a calendar month.
