New measures are needed to get primarily all small and medium-sized property owners and BRF to implement profitable energy efficiency measures on a broad front.
It needs to be easier to know what to do, how to implement it and above all, they need to see that others have implemented measures with good results.
Here we use the knowledge of how behavioral design (nudging) can trigger property owners and managers to implement measures that their neighbors have already implemented, in the same way as for solar cells, for example.
A map will be the basis of the platform, which "awakens the competitive instinct" about what is best in the area in reducing climate impact. Residents and tenants should also be able to push the property owner to activity. The design of the platform has begun in a previous project together with behavioral scientists and UX designers.
Now it remains to iteratively design and develop this ready before launch, together and with the help of mainly Fastighetsägarna.
