i-Brush Wind Power integration and development

Carbex is in the process of developing a monitoring system for monitoring of generators' slip ring packages within Wind Power Industry. The system is based on patented integration of circuit boards placed in a carbon brush.

In this system the following measurement values can be extracted today; brush wear, brush temperature, voltage & power losses as well as humidity inside the slip ring housing. We can also see the voltage distribution of the different phases of the slip ring. All this data must in some way be taken care of and analyzed.

Today there is no self-developed tool for this.

In addition, this is currently a "stand alone" system and is not integrated into existing control or monitoring systems. There are opportunities to develop this. For that we seek support.
